Here the injury fallout from the Week 11 games:

Quarterbacks

  • Eagle QB Donovan McNabb (ankle/thumb) has a small “pocket of swelling” on the back of his right ankle as well as a “quite swollen” right thumb on his throwing hand, coach Andy Reid said Monday, referring to the results of an MRI exam, and he will be re-evaluated when the team returns to practice Wednesday, the Philadelphia Daily News reported. Reid says he is more worried about the thumb than the ankle. He said McNabb could “get away with” not practicing this week and still play in Sunday’s game at New England, but it could come down to a game-time decision. If he can’t play, backup QB A.J. Feeley would start. Feeley replaced him on Sunday and led the Eagles to the win over Miami, completing 11-of-13 passes for 90 yards and a touchdown in the second half (though he did throw a costly first-half interception).
  • Seahawk QB Matt Hasselbeck (ribs) suffered an apparent rib injury in Sunday’s game and is going to be sore, coach Mike Holmgren said, but he played through it.
  • 49er QB Alex Smith (shoulder/arm) said he plans to fly to Birmingham, Ala., today to meet with orthopedist Dr. James Andrews regarding his shoulder and right forearm injury.
  • Raven QB Steve McNair (shoulder) is out at least two more weeks, so QB Kyle Boller will continue to start for him.

Running Backs

  • The NFL Network reported late Monday afternoon that Bronco RB Travis Henry (knee) is out for tonight’s game against Tennessee, though that won’t be confirmed until the teams turn in their inactives list around 7 p.m. ET. RB Selvin Young would start for him again tonight if he can’t play.
  • Here’s the absolute latest on Viking RB Adrian Peterson (knee). Peterson has begun working on an underwater treadmill and has been fitted for a custom-made brace, according to a report Monday on the Minneapolis Star-Tribune web site. Coach Brad Childress said Monday it would be a “longshot” for Peterson to play in Sunday’s game against the Giants, because he would need to be on the practice field by Thursday at the latest and he hasn’t even begun running on dry ground yet (though he could start running and cutting by mid-week, according to a report Sunday by Jay Glazer on FoxSports.com). A more realistic target date is the Dec. 2 (Week Thirteen) game against Detroit. RB Chester Taylor started for him Sunday and ran for 164 yards and 3 TDs against the Raiders. Also, FB Tony Richardson sprained his MCL in Sunday’s game and could miss Week Twelve.
  • Titan RB LenDale White (toe/knee) practiced fully during the week and will start tonight, the Tennessean reported. Backup Chris Brown (ankle) is also expected to play, with Chris Henry going back to the #3 role.
  • Packer RB Ryan Grant (ankle) suffered a “mild” ankle sprain in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game, coach Mike McCarthy said, and Grant is considered day-to-day. McCarthy said he is hopeful he can play Thursday against Detroit.
  • Giant RB Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) hurt his left hamstring in the third quarter of Sunday’s game and did not return. He was replaced by backup RB Reuben Droughns, since RB Derrick Ward (groin) missed his third straight game. Coach Tom Coughlin said both Jacobs and Ward will be re-evaluated on Wednesday. If they’re both out for Week Twelve againt the Vikings, Droughns would presumably start and rookie RB Ahmad Bradshaw would be ready to play more, Coughlin said.
  • Bill RB Marshawn Lynch (ankle) was inactive on Sunday and replaced as the starter by RB Anthony Thomas, who had 11 carries for 31 yards (rookie Dwayne Wright had only one carry). Coach Dick Jauron said he was not optimistic that Lynch will be able to play in Week Twelve. “It is a substantial sprain and injury,” said Jauron. “I’m not optimistic, but again I wouldn’t count him out because he’s young and different.”
  • Patriot RB Laurence Maroney (foot) suffered a foot injury, the team reported, and did not play in the second half of Sunday night’s game, but he said afterward that he did not suffer an injury. “I’m fine,” he said, according to the Boston Herald. RB Kevin Faulk (head) was shaken up in the second quarter and also did not return because of an apparent head injury, the Herald reported, but he said he was “good” after the game.
  • Here’s the lastest on Chief RB Larry Johnson (foot): Johnson is scheduled to have another MRI on Monday to determine if he needs surgery for what is believed to be a cracked bone in his foot, according to a report by Jay Glazer on FoxSports.com. The report said there is not much optimism among teammates and coaches that Johnson will be able to play again this season. Backup Priest Holmes will continue to start for him.
  • Redskin RB Clinton Portis (foot/ankle) appeared to be limited in Sunday’s game, the Washington Post reported, and he will be re-evaluated on Monday.
  • Eagle RB Brian Westbrook (knee) played on Sunday despite missing two practices last week and had a career-high 32 carries for 148 yards in the win over Miami
  • Texan RB Ahman Green (knee) was inactive on Sunday and replaced as the starter by Ron Dayne. Coach Gary Kubiak said on Friday that he does not know Green’s status for the rest of the season.
  • Seahawk RB Shaun Alexander (knee) was inactive on Sunday and replaced as the starter by RB Maurice Morris. Coach Mike Holmgren said last week that Alexander will not play in a game until he can put in a full week of practice.
  • Buc RB Michael Pittman (ankle) and RB Earnest Graham(ankle) were both active on Sunday, with Graham starting and getting 17 carries (to 10 for Pittman) for 102 yards and a TD.
  • Bengal RB Chris Perry returned to practice last week but there has been no decision as to whether he will be activated from the PUP list.
  • Raider RB Michael Bush (leg) remained on the exempt list but likely will be activated on Nov. 21 and could play in Week Twelve. Bush has not played in a game since the season opener at Louisville last season, when he suffered a broken leg.

Receivers

  • Bronco WR Javon Walker (knee) is out for tonight’s game. WR Brandon Stokley continues to start for him.
  • Bengal WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (hip) was injured late in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game and will be re-evaluated today.
  • Colt WR Marvin Harrison (knee) was inactive again on Sunday, and coach Tony Dungy, during an interview Monday on Sirius NFL Radio, said he does not expect him to play in Thursday’s game against Atlanta. WR Anthony Gonzalez (finger) is also expected to miss the game, and WR Aaron Moorehead (back) will be re-evaluated after re-aggravating a back injury in Sunday’s game.
  • Jet WR Laveranues Coles (ankle) suffered a high left ankle sprain in Sunday’s win over the Steelers and is highly unlikely to be able to play on Thursday against the Cowboys, according to someone who spoke to Coles after the game, the Newark Star-Ledger reported. He missed the previous game with a concussion.
  • Panther WR Steve Smith (shin) was inactive on Sunday after missing three straight practices last week. Backup WR Drew Carter started for him and had 5 catches for 132 yards and a TD.
  • Steeler WR Santonio Holmes (ankle) sprained his right ankle in the second half of Sunday’s game and did not return. He will be re-evaluated today.
  • Redskin WR Santana Moss (heel) was active for Sunday’s game after returning to practice Friday and had nine catches for 121 yards and a touchdown in the loss to Dallas. It wasn’t so much pain that I couldn’t do nothing, just soreness here and there,” Moss said, according to the Washington Post. “You fight through it. I’m not 100 percent, but at 80 percent I’m still pretty good.”
  • Seahawk WR Deion Branch (foot), returning from a month-long layoff with a sprained foot, caught four balls for 31 yards on Sunday but said afterward that he’s still far from 100 percent.
  • Raven TE Todd Heap (hamstring) was inactive on Sunday. Raven WR Demetrius Williams (ankle) was also inactive.
  • Texan TE Owen Daniels (nose) broke his nose during Sunday’s game but was able to return.
  • Cowboy WR Terry Glenn (knee) is not expected to play in Week Twelve, and WR Patrick Crayton continues to start for him.
