Here some updates for the upcoming Week 14 games:

Quarterbacks
Ram QB Marc Bulger (concussion) suffered a setback in his recovery from a concussion, meaning it’s possible that third-string QB Brock Berlin could start on Sunday against Cincinnati, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. Coach Scott Linehan said that the decision on a starter is likely to be made late Saturday. Bulger passed a neurological exam Tuesday and was cleared to practice, which he did with no apparent problems on Wednesday and Thursday, but he began feeling poorly during meetings Thursday afternoon, Linehan said. Backup Gus Frerotte (shoulder) is out at least this week, so Berlin, who has never attempted a pass in a regular-season game, might end up starting. The team also signed 35-year-old veteran Todd Bouman as a backup.
• Eagle QB Donovan McNabb (ankle/thumb) practiced again Friday and is still on track to start on Sunday. Head coach Andy Reid said his mobility is back to where it was before he was hurt in the Miami game, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. If he has a setback, backup A.J. Feeley would get a third straight start.
• Packer QB Brett Favre (elbow/shoulder) “threw the ball well (Friday)” in practice, according to coach Mike McCarthy, and will start as planned against Oakland. Backup Aaron Rodgers (hamstring) could miss 1-2 weeks, and the team re-signed QB Craig Nall last week to handle the #2 role.
• Buc QB Jeff Garcia (back) did not participate in Friday’s practice as a precaution but is getting better and still has a chance to play on Sunday, coach Jon Gruden said. It is likely to come down to a game-time decision. Luke McCown would get another start if Garcia can’t play.
• Redskin QB Jason Campbell (knee) dislocated his left kneecap in Thursday’s game and is out indefinitely, but the team has not ruled him out for the season. QB Todd Collins , who took over for him Thursday and led the Redskins to the 24-16 win, is expected to start in Week Fifteen against the Giants.
• Bear QB Rex Grossman (knee) has a sprained MCL in his left knee that will not require surgery but he will miss at least 3-4 weeks. QB Brian Griese took over for him Thursday and played the rest of the game, but the Chicago Tribune speculated that third-string QB Kyle Orton could get a serious look over the next few weeks.
• Texan QB Matt Schaub is out, so backup Sage Rosenfels will start against the Bucs.
• Chief QB Brodie Croyle (back) practiced fully again on Friday and is expected to start on Sunday at Denver. Backup Damon Huard would start again if Croyle can’t go.
• Raider QB Daunte Culpepper (quad) missed practice again Thursday and QB Josh McCown (finger) took most of the first-team snaps for the second straight day, so it’s expected that McCown will start on Sunday against the Packers. Andrew Walter is prepping as the backup QB, as coach Lane Kiffin has indicated that rookie JaMarcus Russell is not likely to play at Green Bay.
• 49er QB Alex Smith (shoulder) is still out, and Trent Dilfer will start against the Vikings.

Running Backs
• Saint RB Reggie Bush (knee) has a torn poterior cruciate ligament in his left knee that could keep him out of Monday’s game and possibly for the rest of the season. Coach Sean Payton confirmed the injury, first reported by ESPN’s Chris Mortenson, on Friday afternoon, but said he is still holding out hope that Bush can play Monday night against Atlanta. He is officially listed as questionable for the game. “If you just study the history of PCL injuries, I know they vary with each player, but it is an injury that you come back from,” Payton said, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. “We’ll see. We’ll monitor where he’s at. You know, I’m still hopeful for this weekend’s game.” Bush practiced Thursday, which adds to Payton’s optimism, but experienced soreness and underwent an MRI, which revealed the ligament tear. He did not practice Friday. ESPN reported that he is seeking a second opinion from noted orthopedic specialist Dr. James Andrews to decide whether he might need surgery. The ESPN report also said Bush has already told a source close to him that he does not expect to play Monday and could be out for the season. Analysis: RB Aaron Stecker is probably the safer bet to pick up the slack for rushing and receiving yardage, but Pierre Thomas will definitely be in the mix for playing time if Bush is out. However, Thomas missed Thursday’s practice with a bruised kidney and is also questionable this week.
• Bill RB Marshawn Lynch (ankle) practiced again Friday and took the majority of the first-team reps, according to the Associated Press, and he is expected to play on Sunday against Miami (though he still listed as questionable for the game). Backup RB Fred Jackson would get another start if Lynch can’t play, and Jackson could take on much of the work load if Lynch is limited. RB Anthony Thomas (calf) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.
• Eagle RB Brian Westbrook (knee) was limited in practice Friday after sitting out the last two days to rest his sore knee but is expected to start on Sunday.
• Giant RB Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) was limited in practice again Thursday but coach Tom Coughlin said he is “making good progress” and could play on Sunday against the Eagles. If Jacobs can’t go, Reuben Droughns would be the starter.
• Bronco RB Selvin Young (arm) and RB Andre Hall (ankle) both practiced Wednesday, and coach Mike Shanahan said both should be able to play Sunday. Young is expected to back up RB Travis Henry (knee), who won the appeal of his NFL suspension this week. Henry said he is about “80 percent” with his knee injury but he is expected to start, though he could give up reps to the other two backs, according to the Denver Post.
• Titan RB LenDale White (finger) returned to full practice Thursday and is expected to start on Sunday, though the stitches in his finger could give him some trouble holding the football. If he is limited or can’t play, RB Chris Brown would start and get a lot of carries.
• 49er RB Frank Gore (ankle) was limited in practice again Thursday but is expected to start.
• Panther RB DeShaun Foster (head) returned to practice Thursday and is expected to start.
• Texan RB Ahman Green (knee) was placed on injured reserve Friday, ending his season. RB Ron Dayne (ankle) practiced Friday and is expected to start, and rookie Darius Walker will serve as the primary backup, the Houston Chronicle reported.
• Dolphin RB Jesse Chatman (ankle) missed practice again on Thursday and is likely questionable for Sunday’s game. RB Sam Gado worked with the first team Thursday and would start if Chatman can’t play, the Miami Herald reported, and rookie Lorenzo Booker would likely see action in passing situations. RB Patrick Cobbs could also get some carries.
• Chief RB Larry Johnson (foot) will not play this week. RB Kolby Smith continues to start for him.
• Steeler RB Najeh Davenport (foot) returned to practice Thursday and should be able to play in Sunday’s game.
• Buc RB Michael Pittman (ankle) did not practice Thursday after doing limited work Wednesday. RB Earnest Graham continues as the starter.
Receivers
• Cardinal WR Anquan Boldin (dislocated toe) and WR Larry Fitzgerald (groin) are both looking like game-time decisions on Sunday, the Arizona Republic reported. Fitzgerald ran some routes in practice Friday but Boldin sat out for the third straight day. Boldin said he has never played without practicing, but he said he would play on Sunday if the pain in his toe can be minimized by a special shoe insert. If he can’t play, WR Bryant Johnson would start. If Fitzgerald can’t play, either Johnson or backups Sean Morey and Jerheme Urban (heel) would be forced to start.
• Colt WR Marvin Harrison (knee) did not practice Friday for the second straight day after having limited practice work Wednesday. He is not likely to play on Sunday, Indianapolis Star reported. WR Anthony Gonzalez will continue to start for him.
• Jet WR Laveranues Coles (ankle) was limited in practice again Friday and is questionable for Sunday and could come down to a game-time decision, the Bergen Record reported. WR Jerricho Cotchery (finger) missed practice again Friday and is likely out again this week. WR Brad Smith (back) and WR Justin McCareins would both see increased action with Cotchery out.
• Lion WR Roy Williams (knee) is out this week and possibly the rest of the season, though he said he hopes to return by Week Seventeen. The Detroit News reported that WR Shaun McDonald will start for him opposite Calvin Johnson, and WRs Mike Furrey and Troy Walters will stay in the slot positions. Johnson (back) is still not 100 percent with his bruised back but will start and will likely see his role expand, especially in the red zone.
• Steeler WR Santonio Holmes (ankle) practiced fully again on Thursday and is not on the official injury report, so he is expected to return to the starting lineup on Sunday unless he has a setback, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. If not, Nate Washington would start again.
• Bengal WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (knee) returned to practice Thursday and is expected to start.
• Giant WR Plaxico Burress (ankle) missed practice again Friday but is expected to start. WR Steve Smith (hamstring) practiced fully for the second day in a row and could fill the #3 role.
• Seahawk WR D.J. Hackett (ankle) missed practice again Thursday and will not play this week, but could return in Week Fifteen. WR Bobby Engram will start for him, but WR Nate Burleson will also get increased action.
• Buc WR Joey Galloway (toe) was limited in practice on Thursday but is expected to start. WR Ike Hilliard (knee) was also limited but is expected to start.
• Bronco WR Javon Walker (knee) and WR Brandon Stokley (knee) both practiced Friday and both are expected to play on Sunday.

Viking WR Troy Williamson (head) was limited in practice again Thursday and could be inactive. WR Sidney Rice would start for him again if he can’t play, with Robert Ferguson and Aundrae Allison also seeing increased action.
• Titan backup WR Brandon Jones (groin) missed practice again Thursday and is questionable for Sunday’s game, so recently signed WR Mike Williams could actually see a lot of action.
• 49er WR Arnaz Battle (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday but is expected to start.
• Raven TE Todd Heap (hamstring) was limited in practice again Thursday and is not expected to play this week, though he could return for Week Fifteen. TE Daniel Wilcox (hip) practiced again Thursday and is expected to split time with Quinn Sypniewski.
• Raven WR Demetrius Williams (ankle) is out again, with Devard Darling continuing to fill in for him.
• Packer TE Bubba Franks (knee) was limited in practice Thursday and is questionable for Sunday’s game, with Ryan Krause likely to fill in as the #2 TE.
• Dolphin WR Marty Booker (knee) did not practice Thursday and WR Derek Hagan could fill in for him Sunday.
• Redskin TE Chris Cooley (shin) suffered a bruised shin during Thursday’s game but was able to return and finished with 5 catches for 93 yards (though Todd Yoder caught a TD pass that probably would have gone to Cooley if he had been in the game).
• Charger KR/PR Darren Sproles (knee) missed practice again Thursday. If he can’t play, WR Craig Davis would likely return punts and RB Michael Turner would return kicks.
• Ram WR/KR Dante’ Hall (ankle) is out for the season.
• Cowboy WR Terry Glenn (knee) has been running but still needs to prove he can make cuts and explode out of his breaks before he can be activated, according to the Dallas Morning News. WR Patrick Crayton (ankle) continues in the starting role; he practiced again Thursday and is expected to start.
