FDIC 171 Problem Bank List – Which 171 banks are on the FDIC’s list of 171 troubled banks?

I was wondering why the posts in my series about how to find out if your bank may be on the FDIC’s troubled bank list are getting so many hits today.


Turns out the FDIC list of problem banks has grown from 47 to 90 to 117 to 171!


I’m still deciding whether or not to close my National City Bank account or not.


I’ve already got checking and savings at Chase.


Think I might go back and read my own posts to research which bank might not be on the FDIC’s new list of 171 banks that may fail…
